About

Hi, I’m Ellen!

I am a certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP) and Restorative Health Practitioner (RHP) with a deep commitment to helping individuals uncover the root causes of their health challenges and restore systemic vitality.

Food has always been my love language. I learned that from my grandmother, who cooked entirely from scratch every single day, teaching me the true meaning of nourishment. As I grew up, however, I was swept into the modern world of ultra-processed, brightly packaged convenience foods—a lifestyle that felt easy in the moment, yet remained a world away from the ancestral wisdom of my grandmother’s kitchen.

My path into functional nutrition wasn’t accidental—it was deeply personal. It began when my daughter started experiencing frequent, distressing stomach pain after meals, and conventional care offered no clear answers. At the same time, I was searching for ways to support my husband as he navigated life with ulcerative colitis. Feeling a deep responsibility to protect my family's wellness, I knew we needed to look beyond surface-level symptoms and find a comprehensive, root-cause approach.

That search led me to the Nutritional Therapy Association, a program that aligned beautifully with my core values: an evidence-based, foundational model that honors the bio-individuality of every body.

What I discovered there completely transformed my understanding of human biology. I saw firsthand how profoundly nutrition influences every internal system, and how identifying and correcting cellular imbalances early can alter the trajectory of chronic illness.

Advanced Insights for Systemic Healing

To serve my clients at the deepest level, I pursued advanced training in specialized functional testing. Today, I utilize targeted tools including gut testing, functional blood chemistry analysis, hormone status evaluation, nutrigenomic testing, and hair tissue mineral analysis (HTMA). Rather than guessing, these tools allow me to uncover the hidden biochemical drivers behind dysfunction and create precise, personalized strategies that support systemic healing.

I do not believe our genes or our age dictate our health destiny. While genetics provide your unique biological blueprint, how we support that blueprint dictates your cellular health. By understanding your specific genetic tendencies alongside how you eat, rest, and manage stress, we can unlock the exact inputs your biochemistry needs to thrive. This intersection of nature and nurture is where true systemic healing happens.

Through my own functional testing journey, I uncovered and corrected long-standing imbalances that had quietly accumulated in my own body over time. Today, I feel more resilient than ever, and that personal transformation inspires my mission: to help you discover how good your body is truly meant to feel.

I believe deeply that chronic issues can be prevented, improved, and successfully navigated. We are meant to thrive, not just get by. I am here to help you reconnect with your body’s innate capacity to heal—and to walk alongside you with absolute clarity, compassion, and the precise tools needed to create lasting, sustainable health.
