About
Hi, I’m Ellen!
I’m a certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP) and Restorative Health Practitioner (RHP) with a deep commitment to helping people uncover the root causes of their health challenges and restore true vitality.
Food has always been my love language. I learned that from my grandmother, who cooked from scratch every day and showed me what real nourishment looks like. But like many of us, once I started school, I was swept into the world of ultra-processed, brightly packaged convenience foods—fun in the moment, but a world away from my grandmother’s kitchen (hello, Cheetos!).
My path into holistic health wasn’t accidental—it was personal. It began when my daughter started experiencing frequent stomach pain after meals, and conventional care offered no clear answers. At the same time, I was searching for ways to support my husband’s health as he navigated life with ulcerative colitis. I felt a deep responsibility to keep my family well, and I knew there had to be a more comprehensive, root-cause approach.
That search led me to the Nutritional Therapy Association, a program that aligned beautifully with my values: an evidence-based, foundational model that honors the bio-individuality of every body. What I learned there changed the way I understood health. I saw firsthand how profoundly nutrition influences every system, and how identifying and correcting imbalances early can prevent chronic illness later.
To serve my clients at a deeper level, I pursued advanced training in functional testing, including Gastrointestinal Healing, Functional Blood Chemistry Analysis, and Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis. These tools allow me to uncover what’s really driving dysfunction—not just the symptoms—and create personalized strategies that support true healing.
I don’t believe our genes or age define our health destiny. While genetics provide the blueprint, how we live—how we eat, rest, move, and care for ourselves—has far greater impact. Through my own functional testing journey, I uncovered and corrected long-standing imbalances that had quietly accumulated over time. Today, I feel better than ever, and that transformation inspires my mission: to help others discover how good their bodies are meant to feel.
I believe deeply that chronic issues can be prevented, improved, and even reversed. We are meant to thrive, not just get by. I’m here to help you reconnect with your body’s innate ability to heal—and to walk alongside you with clarity, compassion, and tools that create lasting, sustainable wellness.
